I’m Sharon Weed, and I am a fiction writer/blogger who lives in the south suburbs of Chicago.  My husband Athens and I are empty-nesters  which gives me time to devote to my favorite passion ~ writing.  Not only am I excited about sharing my blog with you, I am even more thrilled to share from time to time the blogs of other writers.

Our Mission

Today’s women wear many hats.  Whether working in the home or outside of the home, women struggle to find a place of balance, peace and serenity.

Our mission is to help women find that place to relax, kick off their shoes, and possibly laugh a little.  In these trying times, women need to know that they are not alone.  Sharing insights, wisdom through knowledge, and personal triumphs will not only empower women but give the encouragement to make it through one more day.

Helping women overcome the real issues that face today’s society will change the world.  And partnering with other women to help each other grow will make an impact on the fabric of tomorrow’s society.
